Connecting to the Internet (WiFi)

NOTE! Make sure the Pre-Installation Checklist has been completed prior to Installation, otherwise you may face issues in getting the system connected to the Internet.

  • In the homepage go to Settings by selecting this icon in the top right corner

  • Enter the code 2689 for your system when prompted

  • Scroll down & under Vision settings select Internet connection and Device Status.

  • Navigate to WiFi Settings and tap the Scan button to list networks.

  • Tap the name of your network to connect.

  • Enter password (password is supplied by your IT team.)

  • Tap Connect

  • When the connection is established, a confirmation message is shown. You will now see details of your WiFi network appear in the top part of the page.

  • Double check the connection by doing a Google search in the Vision Control Box browser.

  • If your system doesn’t seem connected contact your IT team to check firewall / network settings and / or device whitelisting.

NOTE!

This instruction only covers the most common way to connect to a WiFi network. WPA2-Enterprise, and WEP networks are not being supported.
